Justin Snodgrass
"The foundation of any successful project begins with listening."
Justin Snodgrass brings over 20 years of experience partnering with clients — from Fortune 500 boardrooms to luxury custom builds across North and South Carolina.
Justin began his career producing high-end gala events in Chicago, where he honed an instinct for detail, timing, and the art of exceeding expectations. He transitioned into a decade of Fortune 500 consulting before finding his true calling in luxury residential construction.
For the past 10+ years, Justin has focused on the NC and SC luxury home market, guiding clients through every phase of the custom build process — from initial concept through final walkthrough.
Justin's philosophy is simple: listen first, build second. Every decision, every detail, every timeline begins with understanding exactly what the client envisions for their family and their life.
Outside of work, Justin is a devoted husband and father. He and his husband Tony share their life with their 12-year-old son. Justin loves the outdoors, spending time on the pool, the lake, and the ocean whenever possible.

Megan Menne
"Great design should not only look beautiful — it should function beautifully for the way each client truly lives."
Megan Menne is a detail-driven interior designer with over 15 years of experience shaping luxury residential interiors. Her work spans the Triangle, New York City, and Park City — bringing a sophisticated, cross-market perspective to every project.
Megan's approach begins with listening. She believes that great design should not only look beautiful — it should function beautifully for the way each client truly lives. Every space she creates is a reflection of the people who inhabit it.
Her ability to help clients visualize their finished home — long before the first wall goes up — is one of the qualities that sets Megan apart. She translates dreams into detailed plans, and detailed plans into rooms people love coming home to.
When she's not designing, Megan channels her creativity into painting, drawing, and crafting. She's also an enthusiastic home cook and the proud mom of three daughters.

Rob Sluik
"A great home comes down to the people who build it and the standards they refuse to compromise on."
Rob Sluik is Co-Owner of S&S Luxury Homes, bringing more than 15 years of hands-on construction and general contracting experience to every project the company takes on. A licensed Unlimited General Contractor in North Carolina, Rob has built his career on a simple conviction: the quality of a home is decided long before the final walkthrough — in the details, the materials, and the people you trust to put them together.
Rob grew up on job sites, shadowing his uncle and developing an instinct for construction long before it became his profession. He went on to study accountancy and finance at East Carolina University — a background that still shows up in the disciplined, numbers-aware way he runs job sites and builds budgets. After an early career outside construction, he founded S&S Property Restoration in 2012 and spent the next decade building a reputation for doing difficult work well: structural repairs, complex renovations, and rebuilds that demanded both technical skill and a calm presence with homeowners in stressful moments. Throughout his career, Rob has also developed extensive experience building new construction homes — both single and multi-family — through all phases, from breaking ground to final walkthrough.
That field experience is exactly what Rob and Justin drew on when they decided to launch S&S Luxury Homes together. Having met in the field, the two owners knew their complementary strengths — Rob's construction leadership and Justin's client-facing expertise — could become the foundation of a builder that treats luxury as a standard of care rather than a price point. Today, Rob oversees the construction side of the business across the Triangle, Hyco Lake, and the company's growing list of communities.
Rob is known on site for being steady, practical, and deeply invested in the craft. He believes in hiring good people, paying attention to the small things, and building homes he'd be proud to live in himself. Some people collect stamps — Rob collects heavy machinery.
Away from work, Rob's world centers on his wife Jess and their three daughters — the people who keep him grounded and remind him what all the long days are really for. He's happiest on the water, whether that's boating with family or chasing a good day of fishing.

Chad Hardin
"Construction requires flexibility, patience, and care — the same things that matter most at home."
Chadwick Hardin brings decades of hands-on construction experience, a strong work ethic, and a calm, practical approach to every project. He began working as a brick mason in middle school, learning the trade from his father and developing an early appreciation for skill, discipline, and doing things with care.
After graduating in 2000, he expanded into several other construction trades, and in 2006 he earned his general contractor building license. He also holds IICRC certifications in water damage restoration and mold remediation, reflecting the breadth of his industry background.
Known for being detail-oriented and calm under pressure, Chadwick understands that construction often requires flexibility, communication, and thoughtful problem-solving. His goal is always to help guide projects forward in a way that gives clients confidence in both the process and the final result.
Outside of work, Chadwick stays busy with his three teenage kids and their sports and social activities. When time allows, he enjoys heading to the beach with his family to fish off the pier, relax, and recharge. That blend of experience, patience, and family-centered values is something he brings to every client relationship.

Chad Gaines
"Whether you're planning a family weekend or building someone's forever home — both reward the people willing to do the work right the first time."
With over 11 years of experience in the construction field, Chad has built a reputation on one simple principle: a home of this caliber deserves nothing less than complete dedication at every stage of construction.
Chad joined S&S Luxury Homes after spending more than 5 years overseeing high-end builds and multiple completed communities across North Carolina. He has managed projects ranging from sprawling estates to architecturally complex urban retreats. His background spans structural coordination, premium material sourcing, and the detailed orchestration of the trade teams that make a luxury build run smoothly — from breaking ground to final walkthrough.
Away from job sites, Chad is most at home in the outdoors. Whether it's fishing trips, camping, or a family movie night, time away has a way of resetting his perspective — and reminding him why doing the work right the first time always matters.

Johnny Rose
"Every home I work on represents someone's sense of normalcy — I never lose sight of that."
Johnny Rose brings 8 years of experience in construction and restoration to the S&S Luxury Homes team. The first six years of his career were spent on the front lines of hurricane disaster relief — traveling to affected communities and helping families rebuild their homes and their lives after devastating storms. That experience gave Johnny a deep appreciation for what a home truly means to the people who live in it.
Over the past two years, Johnny has transitioned his focus to new construction, bringing the same work ethic and care to luxury builds that he brought to disaster recovery. He is excited to contribute to the S&S team while also embarking on a few home projects of his own.
Outside of work, Johnny is an avid athlete — you'll find him on the rugby pitch, the flag football field, or the basketball court. When he's not competing, he enjoys spending time with his wife and getting out on the water in pursuit of a good catch.

Vincent DeCarlo
"From the foundation to the final finish — every detail matters, and every client deserves nothing less than exceptional."
Vince DeCarlo brings more than 16 years of experience in residential new construction across North Carolina and Virginia. He has successfully managed hundreds of homes throughout the Triangle and surrounding areas, and more recently oversaw the construction of numerous high-end custom homes around Smith Mountain Lake, Virginia.
Now back in the Triangle with S&S Luxury Homes, Vince is focused on providing premier craftsmanship, attentive service, and a seamless building process for every client. Known for his meticulous attention to detail, he is deeply involved in every phase of construction — from structural development to the final finishes — ensuring each home meets the highest standards.
His reputation is built on efficient project management without ever compromising quality. Whether navigating complex construction challenges or perfecting the smallest detail, Vince approaches every endeavor with focus, determination, and a competitive edge.
Outside of work, Vince values time with his wife and two children. He enjoys cooking, coaching his daughter's softball team, and pursuing his passion for motorcycles.

Sophia Salcedo
"A well-designed home should feel effortless to live in — and completely, unmistakably yours."
Sophia Salcedo is an interior designer with a strong foundation in residential design and a passion for creating spaces that feel both functional and thoughtfully curated. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Interior Design from Indiana University and has experience supporting high-end residential projects through space planning, material selections, and client coordination.
After relocating from Indiana to Raleigh, Sophia brings a fresh perspective and adaptability to her work, along with a strong command of design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and Chief Architect. She approaches each project with a focus on clarity, organization, and thoughtful execution.
Sophia believes that a well-designed home should feel effortless to live in while still reflecting a strong sense of style. She enjoys working closely with clients and teams to bring ideas to life in a way that feels cohesive, intentional, and tailored.
Outside of design, Sophia loves trying new restaurants, exploring parks, and spending time with family, friends, and her cats — experiences that often inspire her creativity and appreciation for well-designed spaces.

Joe Ornelas
"Building a great home means understanding the full picture — from the permit office to the final walkthrough."
Joe Ornelas brings over 10 years of experience in residential construction and city planning, giving him a unique, well-rounded perspective on building from both sides of the process. As a Project Manager, he's led multi-million-dollar custom home projects from start to finish — keeping things on track, on budget, and built to a high standard.
His background in municipal planning gives him a distinct edge when navigating permits, zoning, and coordination with city officials. Joe is known for being detail-oriented, easy to work with, and a strong communicator — whether he's coordinating with subcontractors, clients, or local agencies.
Joe holds a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Planning and maintains both LEED Green Associate and AICP certifications — a combination that reflects his commitment to building thoughtfully and sustainably.
Originally from Washington State, Joe recently relocated and brings a fresh perspective to the S&S team. An avid mountain biker and hiker, he enjoys traveling and exploring new places whenever he can. One of his long-term goals is to visit every U.S. national park.

Alison Pinette
"Every detail matters. Every phase has purpose. That's how a house becomes the home of your dreams."
Alison began her design journey at UNCG, where she learned that no detail is too small to focus on. Starting her professional career in Greensboro, she developed a deeper knowledge of the furniture industry and its vendors through model merchandising.
Moving her career to Chapel Hill, Alison spent over three years at a residential remodeling firm, building relationships with local vendors and contractors — and learning firsthand that it truly does take a team to build something beautiful.
Alison joined S&S Luxury Homes after half a decade of overseeing projects and maintaining client satisfaction, bringing with her a strong skill set in material sourcing, design presentations, vendor knowledge, and an eye for detail. She is passionate about making the home of your dreams a reality while keeping the entire process as smooth and stress-free as possible.
Outside the office, Alison can be found in her garden, cultivating native plants and creating a pollinator utopia in her yard. She takes camping trips with her boyfriend Zack and their pomsky puppy Leela, and she's a devoted Durham Bulls fan come baseball season. Her time in nature has taught her to be present in each moment — and to appreciate every phase of the design process.

Amber Kirkendall
"The same dedication I bring to my family, I bring to every number on every page."
Amber Kirkendall is a Staff Accountant at S&S Luxury Homes, where she supports the financial operations of the company with a strong focus on accuracy, organization, and efficiency. She plays an important role in helping ensure projects and financial processes run smoothly while maintaining the high standards that define S&S Luxury Homes.
Outside of her professional role, Amber is a proud mother to a 13-year-old son and infant twins. In her free time, she enjoys staying active through running and loves spending time reading. Amber values balance between her work and family life and brings the same dedication and reliability to both.

Tony Hoshaw
"The right information, in the right hands, at the right time — that's how great decisions get made."
Tony loves good information. Connecting people to the information they need to get the product they want or to do their job well is something Tony takes very seriously.
Tony knows that S&S team members need good information to make quick decisions and seize opportunities.
